Technology to Support Learning
Our Commitment
At Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS), technology is a tool that supports learning, creativity, and connection. Every decision we make about technology is guided by one central question: How does this improve teaching and learning for students?
CCPS uses school-managed devices, internet filtering, classroom tools, and optional parent resources to keep students safe, support learning, and keep families informed. These tools work together, but each serves a different purpose.
Students use technology every day to explore ideas, collaborate with classmates, receive feedback, and access learning resources. CCPS is committed to ensuring these tools are used intentionally, safely, and responsibly, with clear expectations and strong partnerships between schools and families.
Our approach reflects years of thoughtful planning and continuous review. CCPS has built a layered digital learning and safety system designed to support instruction, protect students, and keep families informed and engaged.
