Applying for a Position with Calvert County Public Schools
All applications for positions with Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS) must be completed online via our applicant tracking system.
Before beginning the process, make sure you have:
- Email addresses available for anyone you plan to list as a reference
- Email addresses available for any former employers
- Transcripts for all completed coursework
You may not list your own email address for those persons that you list as a reference source. The reference surveys will automatically be sent electronically to each of your references when you submit your application.
The references you list should be work related, in lieu of friends. References from relatives are not acceptable. A minimum of three satisfactory references must be received for you to be considered for a position with CCPS. One of these three references must be from a supervisor.
At any time, you may log back into your application to see if your references have been received. You will not be able to see the actual reference, as they are confidential; however, it will tell you if they have been completed. It is your responsibility to follow-up on any missing references. If they have not been received in an appropriate amount of time, you have the option to “Re-Send” them yourself.
