Community Engagement and Partnerships

Calvert County Public Schools is an integral part of the community. We strive to build relationships through activities that engage our students, families, staff, and the community as a whole. CCPS values partnerships that help strengthen community relationships and support the needs of our students. We recognize the importance that community members and business partners provide regarding grants, scholarships, activities, and other resources that support our students and staff.

Outside Organization Flyer Submission and Distribution

Outside organizations wishing to share flyers with CCPS students and families must receive written approval from the Director of Communications before materials may be posted, distributed, displayed, or shared through any district or school communication channel. Submit the final flyer in PDF format to GruverM@calvertnet.k12.md.us at least 10 business days before the requested distribution date. Approval does not constitute CCPS sponsorship or endorsement.

Required Disclaimer

The following Board-approved disclaimer must be included on every flyer:

NOTE: These events and activities are not sponsored by the Calvert County Board of Education or Calvert County Public Schools. CCPS provides equal opportunities to outside agencies to distribute materials that offer opportunities to students and/or their parents, but that permission should not be considered a recommendation or endorsement by the school district.

The disclaimer must be complete, clearly visible, and legible.

Flyers that do not include the required disclaimer will be returned for revision.
