Code of Conduct
The Code of Student Conduct handbook is posted on the Calvert County Public Schools website. Hard copies are available upon request. All students (grades Kindergarten to 12th) and their parents/guardians should review this document to become familiar with the rules and regulations that govern student behavior. School officials spend time during the first two weeks of school reviewing the information with students and highlighting major changes.
Students and their parents/guardians are responsible for knowing and understanding the information, including policies, procedures, and consequences for violating the Code of Conduct. The school will send home a Statement of Understanding with each student, to be signed by both the student and the parent/guardian and returned to the school.
Elementary school students may only bring a cell phone/smartwatch to school if they have a signed Elementary Student Cell Phone/Smartwatch Registration Form on file at the school. Please refer to the Electronic and Communication Devices section of the Code of Conduct for additional information regarding rules and regulations for cell phones, smartwatches, and other electronic or communication devices.
Questions or comments about the handbook should be directed to your School's Principal or to the Department of Student Services at 443-550-8460.
