Fine and Performing Arts Curriculum

Calvert County Public Schools Fine & Performing Arts believes that the arts are relevant and meaningful to all students. Creating art provides the opportunity for self-expression and the development of one’s artistic voice. Participation in the fine and performing arts fosters students’ ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate their work and the work of others. Arts instruction is a platform for guided exploration, self- directed learning, and collaborative engagement.
