Life Insurance

Calvert County Public Schools provides group term life insurance with double indemnity for accidental death for all full-time employees. Coverage is currently provided by The Standard Group Life Insurance Company. The amount of life insurance per eligible employee shall be 150% of annual salary. Covered members should make certain that the designation of beneficiary on file in the Human Resources Department is updated as necessary to reflect a name change or a change of beneficiary(ies).

Additional Life Insurance

Purchase additional Life Insurance for you and your dependents.

For New Hires:

  1. Review the Summary of Benefits.
  2. Enroll through your EAC account within the first 30 days of hire.

For All Employees:

You can request to enroll in additional life insurance at any time; however, you must first go through The Standard medical review protocols and be approved.

  2. Start Medical Review Application to apply for Additional Life Insurance.
