Life Insurance
Calvert County Public Schools provides group term life insurance with double indemnity for accidental death for all full-time employees. Coverage is currently provided by The Standard Group Life Insurance Company. The amount of life insurance per eligible employee shall be 150% of annual salary. Covered members should make certain that the designation of beneficiary on file in the Human Resources Department is updated as necessary to reflect a name change or a change of beneficiary(ies).
Details of coverage are contained in negotiated agreements and the program booklet provided by The Standard Group Life Insurance Company.
