Planning and Construction Forms

Thank you for your interest in the Calvert County Public Schools (CCPS) Construction Program. To ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability on our projects, all contractors must complete our Contractor Prequalification Questionnaire prior to bidding on any upcoming projects. This process allows us to evaluate your company’s qualifications, experience, financial stability, and history of satisfactory performance to ensure each project is planned and constructed properly and on schedule. Only contractors who fully complete the questionnaire entirely by the submission deadline and meet the qualification criteria will be eligible to participate in project bidding.

Qualification Criteria

Applications will be evaluated based on the following factors. Missing or incomplete information may result in disqualification:

1. Prior experience with projects of similar size/scope
2. Financial capacity to construct and manage the project
3. Four (4) reference responses. CCPS will make a reasonable effort to contact the provided references. If references are non-responsive, CCPS may request additional references to ensure a fair and adequate review.

Please Note:

• We are only requesting and accepting submissions from firms intending to serve as the Prime Contractor.
• Subcontractors do not need to complete this process.
• A new submission is required for each project unless your firm submitted within the past 12 months for a project of similar scope and value.

2. Complete all required fields in full, have the form notarized, and include all requested documentation.
3. Email submissions to Brittany Gibson, Planning & Construction Specialist at gibsonb@calvertnet.k12.md.us.
4. You will be notified of your status within five (5) business days of review.
5. Submissions must be received by the deadline specified in each project’s bid documents.
