Fee Information
Since July 1, 2003, Calvert County Public Schools has required an athletic participation fee to help sustain interscholastic sports at the middle school level. These programs provide students with opportunities to build dedication, responsibility, leadership, fitness, teamwork, and school spirit.
To participate, middle school students must pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $35.00 prior to joining a sport-specific, skill-based clinic. At the conclusion of the clinic, teams will be selected from participating students. Students must also register online through HAC to participate in middle school athletics, including clinics.
Students who are chosen for a team will be required to pay an additional one-time, non-refundable fee of $30.00 before competing in interscholastic games.
All fees collected support the operation of the interscholastic middle school athletic program in Calvert County Public Schools.
The fee can be paid online during the registration process. Families can also work with their school to pay the fee. Online payment is preferred. Contact your school’s financial secretary or athletic director if you have additional questions.
