POLARTREC SEABIRD ECOLOGY IN THE BERING SEA --------------------------------------------------------- CHESPAX teacher Tom Harten spent part of the summer in southwestern Alaska in the Pribilof Islands of the Bering Sea. Tom was studying seabird foraging and nesting behaviors with an international team of researchers. He returned on August 15, 2009.
