While the current support employee contract remains in effect through June 30, 2016, it specifies that negotiable items for FY15 and FY16 will be limited to Article 18 Salary of the Agreement and two Articles selected by each respective party.
The school system has dedicated a section on its website to provide information about the negotiation proceedings. As a regular feature of the negotiations update, the school system will provide each teamâ€™s proposals and counterproposals as they are exchanged.
The parties have agreed upon negotiations protocols and have scheduled meeting dates which are open to the public. A copy of the Negotiation Protocols is currently posted on the website.
Following the exchange of proposals, negotiations will begin. The goal is to reach an agreement which addresses the needs of the support employees and the school system.
