|> Policies For Review|
A policy is a statement of the Board of Education's Vision for the Calvert County Public Schools. Policies give broad guidance for the governance of the school system and are formally adopted by the Board of Education. Prior to adoption, public comment is received and considered.
Procedures are written by the Superintendent or his/her designee. Procedures delineate the specifics about how policies are implemented on a day-to-day basis. Procedures are presented to the Board of Education for informational purposes.
In any dispute, the official language of the policy in effect at the time of the incident will supersede the language on this web site. For more information, contact the Superintendent's Office at 410-535-7804.
