Students interested in taking online courses for the first time are required to:

  1. Take the Online Learning Readiness Survey. After completing the survey, students will be emailed detailed information about accessing CCPS Online Orientation. Orientation is a short mini-course of activities similar to those found in any online course.

  2. Students and Parents must read and sign copies of the Student Code of Conduct for Online Learning and the Parent/Student Online Learning Contract. Both are included in the Student Parent Information Packet (Coming Soon) and are submitted as part of Orientation.

  3. Students will need to complete all of CCPS Online Orientation on Schoology before finalizing registration for any online course. Log in to Schoology to access CCPS Online orientation (access code 746MV-FGHR2).

  • Financial Literacy (.5 credit)
  • Health (.5 credit)
  • Foundations of Technology (1 credit)
  • Music Appreciation (1 credit)
  • Spanish 1 (1 credit)
  • Spanish 2 (1 credit)

  • 3409o - AP Calculus 1 (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 1409o - AP English Literature & Composition (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 1309o - AP English Language & Composition (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 2549o - AP Psychology (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 2549o - AP Statistics (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 1570so - Creative Writing (.5 credit - Fall or Spring)
  • 5230so - Financial Literacy (.5 credit - Fall or Spring)
  • 8000o - Foundations of Technology (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 3505o - Foundations of Computer Science (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 7010so - Health (.5 credit - Fall or Spring)
  • 4507o - Honors Environmental Science (1 credit - Full Year)
  • 6370o - Music Appreciation (1 credit - Full Year)
Final determination of which courses are offered 2018-2019 depends on sufficient student requests by May 2018.

Students scheduled for more than seven credits for school year 2018-2019 will be charged a fee of $325 for a one credit online course and $275 for a half credit online course.

Students who have previously taken an online course interested in enrolling in an additional online course(s) are required to:
  1. Take the Online Learning Readiness Survey to indicate course choice(s) for School Year 2018-2019.
